D-Generation X (DX) was founded in 1997 in the WWF's "Attitude Era" by wrestling legends Shawn Michaels and Triple H as a foil to The Hart Foundation. Chyna and Rick Rude are also considered founding members, and D-Generation X later added X-Pac, The New Age Outlaws, and Tori to the stable.
DX reformed several times in June of 2006 and again in August 2009 and was voted the greatest WWE Tag Team Champions of all time by viewers in 2013. In 2019, D-Generation X was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
